When I’ve had a busy night @ivybakery time for dishes ::whimper:: (at Ivy Bakery)

​Every year for as long as the bakery can remember, we have participated as food sponsors at Taste of Summer. This year is no different, we will be donating hundreds of not possibly a thousand delicious sweets to keep Central Park looking beautiful for years to come. 

​This is one of my favorite, if not THE favorite event of the year because I get to be out on what I hope will be a beautiful evening in Central Park with the top chefs and restaurants New York City has to offer. 

​We will be promoting our famous Butter Gooies and possibly a few other treats. Take a look at my community page for past event photos.

​My blog… is boring! lol My excuses… I never bought into the blog craze so I currently have no experience and 2. I don’t usually have time to sit down and write a note to myself let alone a blog entry. Let’s try to remedy these things as it seems blogs are now kinda important for businesses. Ideas?

Baking Classes? I could break down recipes like every other food/baking related blog. ​

OR! 

​I can blog about and bake old and lost/regional recipes, which is what I love to do anyway. This might be more interesting. Who wants to read another post about Red Velvet Cupcakes or Cupcakes for that matter? That fad really needs to come to an end already. Yup. Hatin on the cupcake, don’t get me wrong, I make THE BEST Cupcakes in NYC, but I’m pretty tired of all the hoopla, aren’t you? Let’s get to some real baking and real desserts from far away places and times long ago.

​Excited and soon to be exhausted. 3 days of non-stop gooey making, starting… NOW! This ends our month of charity events in April. Looking forward to a more relaxing May. I hope to see everyone at this event, fighting hunger is on the top of my support list.
